Colourful watercolour painting of a coastal village with houses and boats. Depicting the historic fishing village of Polperro on Cornwall's south coast. Famous for its charming nature and buildings of character, the narrow streets and traditional fishing values and historic form. The views are full of unspoilt historic form and this is beautifully represented throughout this watercolour and mixed media painting study by R Singleton.
Complementing vibrant and pastel colour washes over each building that cascade down the village to the harbour below. accompanied with pleasant fishing boats to portray the lifestyle that is Polperro. The formation and composition of this fine art painting is a joyous take on the experience found when exploring this fascinating and popular Cornish destination. A contemporary and modern study on a historic and ancient fishermen's cottages. The lanes being too narrow for cars really do encourage the exploration of this wonderful town on foot, meaning more sight seeing and allows the explorer to take in the aspect of the cobbled streets and historic architecture of the coastal town.
Rugged cliffs and sandy coves, small independent shops accompany within the walls of the old smugglers haven and focus on the boat trips to be had when there. This painting portrays the experience to be had when exploring this popular picturesque location and truly tells that story throughout the brush strokes and washes of detail throughout.

Each piece is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. Paintings are protected with durable layers and secure materials, while home décor objects are wrapped with reinforced cushioning to prevent damage during transit.
