F.A.Q
Will I Get A Certificate Of Authenticity?
To preserve integrity, originals and limited editions are the only works that arrive with a certificate of authenticity. Open edition prints will not come with a certificate of authenticity.
Will My Print Be Hand-Signed?
Original paintings and limited edition prints will be hand signed, whereas any readily available open edition prints will not arrive hand-signed. The original signature from the original painting or illustration is printed on the fine art print along with the rest of the artwork instead.
Processing Time
Art Prints are printed on order and take up to 7-9 days to be printed and shipped. You will receive tracking once your order has shipped.
Final finished originals are estimated to be shipped within 1 week.
Can I Commission A Custom Piece?
For now I have decided to take a step back from accepting commission proposals to focus on my own creations. If I choose to offer them again, You can follow any updates throughout our social media pages.
Order queries
If your order is damaged or incorrect, please contact me via the enquiry form on my website with your name, order number, and photos of the damage or incorrect item. I’m happy to work with you for a resolution.
If your tracking is displayed as delivered but your shipment has not arrived, please contact your local post office with the tracking number (find this in your shipping notification). Often packages are waiting for pickup at your nearest post office.
Can I Add A Request At Checkout?
Any personalised requests such as hand written notes or additional signatures and gift messages are no longer applicable. I am simply no longer packaging prints personally in order to spend more time creating.
Requests will be noted, they cannot always be guaranteed. We do not accept requests to speed up dispatch or production as we want to make sure we are still offering a quality service. We can however, include special notes within reasonable form to any original work or limited edition prints. Just not open editions or other products we may offer.
All sales are final. Prints are made to order, so HLSdesigner is unable to accept returns or exchanges.
What to do when I receive my print?
All prints will arrive rolled and tubed for protected shipping, in some cases these may arrive flat or boxed.
- Once your print arrives, carefully remove one end cap and gently slide out of the tube.
- your print/s will be rolled between acid free tissue paper to prevent image transfer or smudges.
- if there is tissue folded into the ends of the print, carefully pull this out ready to roll out.
- Be mindful when rolling out your new print, the prints - being secured within a tube, will want to recoil - the most effective way is to have something by you handy to help lay on top of the corners of the print, I would use the acid free tissue as a barrier to protect your print design too. Place something flat and heavy over the print once rolled out flat. this will help the print regain its rigidity and reduce the need to recoil.
- Once your print is nice and flat, it is ready to be framed. Choose a frame in line with the print size. I always advise to have your print framed professionally at a local framers, they can personalise your request to anything you set your mind to so your new print can be the centrepiece and tie in to you and your home décor.
