A small series of original paintings inspired by breaking waves as they crash into the shore.

At the very core of this vortex, the water thins, allowing a brilliant, lime-green and soft aqua blue light to glow through the wave. This is the eye of the ocean - a luminous, emerald sanctuary where the water is at its most transparent and pure. The peace of the inner barrel meets the raw energy of its crest, exploding into a textured spray of white foam and sea salt. Each flick of white paint represents the roar of the ocean.
